New rendition of a desert song from Sinai, sung in a Bedouin dialect with some Nubian lyrical influences. The musical arrangement features tabletop percussion from El Tanbura’s favourite Coffee House in Port Said and the Gandour Harp, an instrument associated with the Royal Courts of the Pharaohs, possibly originating from Central African Pygmy tribes.
